Young Artist

I practiced human pencil art by illustrating a teenage girl wearing an apron and holding her right arm up as if she were drawing. This portrait of a teenage girl was inspired by a girl I met (Haeri) when I donated my artwork to the Asan medical center.

Differaction Glass

True art lies in ordinary objects in ordinary moments. When I went to a restaurant with my family, I noticed a glass of water in a cup with a unique design.

Brook

To practice capturing nature and its unpredictable mix of colors, I chose to paint a view of a brook. The water offered a fascinating reflection of the surrounding forest—clear in some areas yet muddy in others, capturing the beauty of nature.

Sunset in Yeoju

This artwork required a thoughtful approach to blending the colors, as I wanted to portray the delicate sunlight that danced across the ocean.

Natural Harmony

Green is found in every piece of nature. Whether it is a forest or a frog, I captured the earthy color of green and how it brings various elements of nature together. Through different shades of green and purple, I tried to convey the different shades of light using watercolor.

Gender

Creating this artwork was both an artistic challenge and an experience that deepened my understanding of the complexities of gender identity.

Blue Layers of Serenity

I did not realize that there were so many shades of blue before I drew this piece of art. It took a lot of revisions and practice to find the exact tone of blue that fit my artwork.

Digital Art

Digital art has opened up a new realm of creativity for me, allowing for the incorporation of glowing effects and other techniques that aren’t possible with traditional media.
